KSH: agricultural producer prices increased by 1.2 percent in April
Agricultural producer prices increased by 1.2 percent in April, compared to a year before. This is due to the 3.1 percent increase in the price of vegetable products and a 2.4 percent decline in the price of live animals and animal products – the Central Statistical Office reported on Wednesday.
The price of cereals increased by 10.7 percent over one year to April, following the 18.1 percent increase in February and the 10.2 percent increase in March. The price of fruits increased by 24.7 percent, following the 31.3 percent price increase of March. (MTI)
