KSH: the number of employees has increased

The average number of employees was 4 million 393 thousand in March-May, 79 thousand more than a year before, while the employment rate of the 15-64 year-olds increased by 1.6 percentage points to 67.6 percent – the Central Statistical Office reported on Wednesday.

The number of people on the primary labor market grew by 108,000, but the number of public employees decreased by 22,000 as well as the number of those who are working at foreign sites. Their number decreased by 7,000.

The number of employees was 1.8 percent higher in March-May than a year before. (MTI)
