KSH: GDP grew by 4.4 percent in the first quarter
In the first quarter, gross domestic product (GDP) grew by 4.4 percent. Seasonally and calendar effect adjusted, the growth was 4.7 percent, compared to the same period of the previous year, according to the first estimate of the Central Statistical Office (KSH).
Economic growth was 1.2 percent, compared to the previous quarter.
In an annual comparison, the market-based services, in particular trade and tourism, contributed to growth in the largest extent. (MTI)
