Nébih found deficiencies in three out of twenty-two tested mayonnaise products
Twenty-two mayonnaises were examined by the National Food Chain Safety Office (Nébih), the controlled products were adequate for food safety, but marking deficiencies were found in case of three products, and in two cases preservatives were found slightly above the prescribed limit.
According to Nébih’s announcement published on Thursday, supervisors have imposed a total of 300,000 forints, due to preservatives over the limit, while those who had marking deficiencies were warned and have to submit a plan of action for rectification. (MTI)
