Aldi Süd launches fresh produce platform
Discounter Aldi Süd has started a new concept that combines fruit and vegetable logistics in one location. The Aldi Süd Fresh-Produce Platform was launched in the Rhine-Main region in July. With this step Aldi aims to reduce the time and distance from the producer to the customer’s table to the minimum. More than 300 Aldi Süd stores will receive daily supplies of fresh fruit and vegetables as part of the scheme.
