FM: The annual support for Hungarian beekeepers have grown to more than 5 million euros a year
With the340,000 euros extension of the previous budget 5 million 35 thousand euros are available annually to support Hungarian beekeepers – Nagy István, Parliamentary Minister of State of the Ministry of Agriculture said at the Veterinary University on Wednesday.
According to the communication of the Ministry of Agriculture (FM), Nagy István emphasized that Hungary is the first in Europe in terms of the density of a bee family, while the Hungarian honey has an excellent quality is maintained by studies carried out under the Hungarian Apiary National Program. The quality control is ongoing, and the food chain supervisory authority carries out monitoring and sample checks, he added. (MTI)
