European Commission: The EU is characterized by vigorous economic activity and high employment rates
At the beginning of the 2018 European economic semester of the budgetary and social policy management, there is a strong economic activity, employment indicators are peaking, and declining unemployment has almost returned to pre-crisis levels in both the euro area and the European Union – the European Commission said in its 2017 European Semester autumn report published on Wednesday.
In its Annual Growth Report, the European Commission underlined that the expansion of the economy will accelerate considerably and that the euro area economy is on the right path to be outstanding this year. (MTI)
