Analysts: the foreign trade surplus in January was higher than expected
The foreign trade surplus in January exceeded the expectations and the surplus will be lower than in the previous year, but the decline will be lower than last year – market analysts told MTI on Friday after the KSH has made its first estimate on the foreign trade turnover in January.
According to the Central Statistical Office (KSH), exports in January increased by 10.1 percent, while imports by 9.3 percent, compared to the previous year and foreign trade surpluses increased by 113 million euros to 676 million euros. (MTI)
