The first “Pannon Wheat Quality” certificate was handed over
The “Pannonian wheat” trade mark was established in July, by the National Association of Cereal Producers (GOSZ), to indicate the extra quality wheat. The first certificate was given to the Cegléd based South Pest County Agricultural Company.
The owners of the "Pannonian wheat" trade mark are the National Association of Cereal Producers (GOSZ), Grain Association and Seed Marketing Board.
For those farmers who wish to produce Pannonian wheat production, this possibility brings a more secure market position and also mean more revenue. The farmers can be the members of the system for 800 forints per hectare and for a single registration fee of 200-250 thousand HUF forints should the farmers to pay up for the experts to examine and certify the product, on the basis of strict requirements. The rating is repeated every year – reports MTI.
