Nokia’s profits decreased
In the second quarter, the world's largest cell phone manufacturer reported about a higher than expected, 40 percent profit decline, while Apple increases the pressure on the firm.
Nokia’s net profit in the second quarter of the year was 227 million, compared to the 380 million euros of the same period of last year. The 40 percent profit decline was an unpleasant surprise to the analysts, who expected a profit of 285 million euros in the Finnish giant. The sales revenue increased by 0.9 percent to 10 billion euros – reports Világgazdaság Online.
