Falling advertising market
In the first half of the year a 7.5 percent reduction on tariff prices had been measured on the domestic advertising market by TNS Media Intelligence. The spendings of the medical sector increased, while car-ads’ values decreased.
Not all advertisers decided to reduce its costs. Half of the
ten largest advertisers reduced their advertising costs into half, although the
other five companies, however, increased their advertising activity. The
companies in the car business have implemented the most drastic advertising
cost reduction: with 34 percent less spent on advertising than a year before,
which means an increase of 8.9 billion HUF – reports Napi Gazdaság.
