Food exports falling
The trade balance is still improving, but already there are signs in the improvement of the internal demand. The export-import gap is narrower than last year: exports improved by 16.8, the imports by 15.9 percent in April, compared to last year – reports
According to the Central Statistical Office (KSH), trade volume with EU member states of Hungary remains lower than trade volume, with the outsiders of the community. This could also be observed last year and it was due to the fact that the emerging Asian markets barely felt the global crisis. Their daily consumption – albeit at a relatively low base – has expanded rapidly – reports Világgazdaság Online.
