Róbert Zsigó: the margin reduction was introduced five weeks ago, and since then the prices of 887 food items have become more favorable

Róbert Zsigó said: in five weeks, an additional 214 products can be purchased at least a third cheaper, and prices have decreased by an average of 18.7 percent.

He added that 522 stores have been inspected and further investigations are underway in 132 cases.

“We will continue to protect people from excessive and unjustified price increases,” the state secretary said.
