Róbert Zsigó: medicines will be cheaper
Medicines will be cheaper – the Parliamentary State Secretary of the Ministry of Culture and Innovation (KIM) announced on Facebook on Wednesday.
In a video uploaded to Facebook, Róbert Zsigó said: Hungarian families and the elderly are also sensitively affected by the price increases.
“We can’t let this happen!” –
nailed it.
The politician recalled that the price cuts started with food, then continued with banking services, telecommunications services and drugstore products. “Now it’s the turn of medicines,” he declared. According to him, larger pharmacies voluntarily reduce their prices and uniformly indicate which products are marked down.
In addition to non-prescription products, some prescription drugs can also be purchased at a cheaper price on or after December 31, 2024 – the state secretary explained, adding: drugs that will be available at a lower price will include, for example, pain and fever reducers, some heart medications and probiotics.
“We will continue the negotiations. Because we protect people from excessive and unjustified price increases“
– emphasized Róbert Zsigó.
