Nébih experts examined vegetable and fruit food rescue packages
The Pro Filii Foundation, which coordinates the charitable activities of the Mészáros Group, organized its usual Advent food donation program for the fifth time. This year, the organization, with the help of the Hungarian Red Cross, distributed donations worth more than 100 million forints to those in need.
Volunteer employees put together 10,000 packages from the products of the food industry companies belonging to the group, thus contributing to a happy Christmas for families in need and single elderly people.
The Pro Filii Foundation’s charitable actions primarily focus on children, so the Advent food donation program also focused on families with many children, but about 1,000 single elderly people also received support.
Similar to previous years, the cooperation and voluntary donations of the companies belonging to the Mészáros Group helped to successfully implement the project. Around 100 employees, working over several days as volunteers, assembled 10,000 food packages from products from the food industry companies belonging to the group (cheese, flour, honey, biscuits, and various types of turkey meat products) at the Aqua Vivien Kft. site in Bicske.
