Vegetables and fruits are the most popular bio-foods, according to consumer research by Gfk. 42 per cent of the customers of bio-foods choose from the above two categories. Bio-bread is bought by one out three customers, while bio-juice is bought by one out of four. 43 per cent of the people interviewed buy bio-products in hyper markets. 76,5 per cent of the sample interviewed never buys bio-products at all, whereas 13,4 per cent only buys bio-food very rarely. Only 3,1 per cent buy bio-food on at least a weekly basis.
