Tesco is turning greener
The stores of the TESCO hypermarket chain are turning greener in Hungary: Tesco uses alternative energy technologies, and reduces exhaust emissions.
The alternative energy technologies include the coverage of the chillers, as well as the replacing of the dangerous refrigerating gas with carbon dioxide. Tesco operates carbon dioxide refrigeration equipments in 18 stores in Hungary, and will continue to install more. By comparison, in the Czech Republic and Poland, only one such store is operating, while in England 30 – reports Világgazdaság Online.
