Green light for the merger of Extreme Digital and eMAG
On 17 October 2019 the Hungarian Competition Authority (GVH) approved of the merger of Extreme Digital Zrt. and eMAG (the Hungarian affiliate of eMAG that forms part of the South African Naspers Group). With the merger one of the biggest online retailers of Central Europe was born. Extreme Digital founders Balázs Várkonyi and Gyula Kelemen will continue to fill leading positions in the new company. //
