A green alliance in the heart of the city – The Body Shop and TOURMIX partnership opens a new era
Sustainability, community, and personal experience were at the heart of TOURMIX’s official launch event held on May 9 at Loffice, a green office building in downtown Budapest. The startup has set out to redefine parcel delivery – making it carbon-neutral, human-centered, and joyfully personal.
The first official partner of the green logistics company is the Hungarian network of the iconic cosmetics brand, The Body Shop. Ildikó Banga, Country Franchise Director of The Body Shop Hungary, attended the event and emphasized that sustainability is a shared responsibility. “It’s important for everyone to believe they can have an impact on their environment,” she said, echoing the legacy of founder Anita Roddick.
More Than a Delivery Service: Values and Experience in Every Package
TOURMIX doesn’t just offer sustainable shipping. Their model integrates environmental awareness with personal connection. Couriers can even deliver personalized messages along with packages – turning simple deliveries into meaningful experiences.
Guests at the launch were also treated to smoothies made from rescued fruit and Oatly plant-based milk, illustrating how small choices can collectively make a big environmental difference.
Upcycled on the Plate: MOKYEN Joins the Movement
The event also featured MOKYEN, the innovative food brand of Majomkenyér, known for their upcycled products. Co-founder Andrea Salgó-Agócs spoke about the importance of fighting food waste and showcased their delicious, sustainable product range – proving that eco-friendly can also be tasty.
Greener Cities Are Already Taking Shape
TOURMIX aims to help cities phase out high-emission vehicles from everyday logistics – both across Hungary and internationally. A pilot program will soon launch in Vienna, marking a new phase in green urban mobility. Meanwhile, Hungarian businesses – large and small – can already access this environmentally responsible delivery solution.
