Green solutions from SPAR
Compared with the 2017 level, SPAR Magyarország’s greenhouse gas emissions level decreased by 49% by 2021. The light fixtures of the stores are replaced with LED lights, the efficiency of a solar panel system is tested for every store, and electric vehicle charging stations are installed. In 2018 SPAR switched to transcritical CO2 refrigeration techniques – from this move an additional 10% of energy saving is expected. /
