Vajda Papír Kft . issued a green bond worth HUF 9.9 billion; The leading manufacturer of hygienic paper products in the Hungarian market is the first industrial production company to appear on the green bond market, the company said on Thursday, following the bond auction.

According to the announcement, an offer worth 16.6 billion HUF was received for a bond issued in the Growth Bond Program (Nkp) of the Magyar Nemzeti Bank (MNB).
The fixed-rate, amortized bond has a maturity of 10 years, a bond coupon rate of 3.5 percent and a yield of 2.82 percent. (MTI)
