Green Office certification for Tetra Pak Hungary
The Tetra Pak is the third company in Hungary that has successfully completed the requirements of the Green Office certification. The Hungarian company is Tetra Pak's first firm that has such a certification.
Due to the developments of the past few years, the plant’s specific energy consumption decreased by 49 percent, while 100 percent of the production waste is recycled in the Budaörs-based plant of Tetra Pak. The environmentally friendly business operation is a big step in itself in case of a large company. Tetra Pak considered it important, that the sustainability approach to be widespread in the offices as well. Thanks to the Green Office project, now these principles are determining the thinking of the company's staff.
