The Budapest Wholesale Market is developing a green direction
The Budapest Wholesale Market Plc. (Budapesti Nagybani Piac Zrt.) has developed its small power plant to 204 solar panels.
The markets’s power plant has been operating since December 2013. With the development the performance of the solar panels can be tripled, while the market has continued its environmentally responsible operations. The plant is currently able to produce up to 60,000 kW of electricity among proper weather conditions, which reasult in significant savings and reduced impact on the environment.
