Italian company Enel sells green electricity to Kellogg
Enel – Europe’s biggest utility service provider – has agreed to sell 360 gigawatt hours of green power per year to Kellogg, to help the US food giant reach climate targets. The two firms signed a 100 megawatt virtual power purchase agreement (VPPA) for electricity delivered from Enel’s project in Texas. This volume equals 50 percent of the electricity used by Kellogg in its North American factories.
