ZEW: euro zone’s economic mood is on a six-year nadir
In October, economic sentiment in the euro area and Germany declined more than expected, to a six-year low – according to a survey published by the ZEW Institute of Economics on Tuesday.
The economic sentiment index of the euro area declined to minus 19.4 points in October, the lowest since August 2012, from the previous week’s minus 7.2 points. The market expected a slight decrease, minus 9.2 points in October. (MTI)
