Quarantine due to bee sickness
A quarantine has been ordered in Gödöllő and in the surrounding villages due to bee sickness for bees, bee related products, and for certain objects the bees have come into contact with – Gödöllő Municipality’s website drew attention on Monday.
The Food Safety and Animal Health Directorate of the Pest County Government Office ordered the bee quarantine, after a specific sickness was detected at an apiary in Szada.
All bee families in the affected area will be examined by official veterinarians. (MTI)
