NAV confiscated cigarettes without a license plate, fake perfume and puppies
The staff of the National Tax and Customs Administration (NAV) seized unlicensed cigarettes, fake perfume and stray puppies on the M7 motorway in a coordinated operation.
According to NAV’s announcement sent to MTI on Tuesday, the fiscal officers with seven service dogs also acted on the Somogy county section of highway 7. As a result of working together for just a few hours, more than 600 fake perfumes, cigarettes without a seal, alcohol of unknown origin and puppies traveling without papers were also found.
The shipments worth around HUF 13 million were seized by NAV staff and proceedings were initiated. Dogs can be accepted by an animal shelter.
