Frost damage mainly affected the apple trees in Zala

In Zala County, due to the stormy wind and cold, the frost damages mainly occured at apple plantations. Rape could be damaged as well, but this might be apparent only later – the county president of the National Chamber of Agriculture (NAK) told MTI on Wednesday.

So far, the farmers reported the 50 – 80 percent frost damages of apples on 90-100 hectares from several districts of the county. Süle Katalin added that the damage assessment is currently underway. (MTI)
