Soccer star Harry Kane invests in porridge-maker 3 Bears
England soccer star and Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane has invested in porridge manufacturer 3 Bears, launching his first ever business venture in Germany.
Kane, who has been playing in Munich since summer of 2023, has not only become a co-owner but also the face and ambassador of the company. From November on, his image will be featured on the company’s products, and he’s been also planning his own range of porridge products, which will see the brand launched in the UK market.
3 Bears will be producing a special three-part mini-documentary, which will be released on Kane’s social media platforms Instagram and TikTok. The film, which is reminiscent of the famous TV series “The Office”, targets Kane’s 17.3 million followers intended to increase the company’s popularity. 3 Bears currently has 114,000 followers on Instagram, while Kölln, who has a similar profile, only has 26,400 followers.
Founded in 2016, 3 Bears aims to promote traditional British porridge in Germany. The company’s portfolio now includes a variety of oat-based products, including porridge, muesli and oat-based bars. In addition to online sales, the products are now available in a number of stores in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, and can even be found at petrol stations and on board of airplanes.
