This year’s best pálinkas

The results of the pálinka and grape marc pálinka competition organised by the National Pálinka Excellence Programme of the Ministry of Agriculture and the National Council of Pálinka (PNT) were announced in June. This year Hungary’s best pálinka is the Konkordi-Izabella grape pálinka made by Józsefné Koós of Mályinka Pálinka Distillery. Brill Pálinka House was named the most successful pálinka distillery. In the best pálinka for more than HUF 10,000 a bottle category Villány Pálinka-Magyarbóly Pálinka Distillery’s selected red grape marc pálinka was the winner. //
