Workania: gross wages increased by 6 percent in 2014
Last year the gross wages increased by 6 percent in Hungary to 246 thousand HUF, compared to the average gross salaries of 2013. The largest increase was in the area of recruitment and consulting, but a substantial increase occured in salaries in the hospitality and the retail sector – the annual survey of the Fizetesek.hu run by the Workania online job portal reveals.
According to the communication sent to MTI on Thursday the 6 percent of the gross average salary is the largest annual growth of the past five years.
The monthly 300 thousand HUF gross earnings of the workers in Budapest is 18 percent more than the Hungarian average, and is 20 percent higher than the average 240 thousand HUF of the second best-paid workers in Komárom-Esztergom county. The third is Győr-Moson-Sopron county with an average is 235 thousand HUF. (MTI)
