The AutoWallis Group is introducing a new brand and launching its first own-brand mobility service under the name wigo. The first service of AutoWallis under the new brand name is wigo carsharing, which will be introduced by Wallis Autómegosztó, which previously operated Share Now. From October 24, the customers of the market-leading domestic car sharing company based on its sales can use the new, extended-function application of nearly 500 cars in the fleet. The car company listed on the Hungarian stock exchange takes another step closer to becoming the region’s dominant car trade and mobility service provider by the end of the decade.

The AutoWallis Group is launching its own mobility brand under the name of wigo, and at the same time, under the name of wigo carsharing, it is continuing its car sharing service, which is being introduced by Wallis Autómegosztó Zrt., a member of the group, on the domestic market, where until now it operated the Share Now brand, which was discontinued on October 24. According to the plans, car sharing, which will be the first to appear under the wigo brand name, will be followed by new mobility services. Gábor Ormosy, the CEO of AutoWallis Nyrt., said in connection with the announcement: the Group is now an international company present in 16 countries, so their strategic goal with the creation of the brand is to create the possibility of organizing part of their mobility services under a unified brand name that all market has the same meaning. For AutoWallis, the introduction of wigo can open up many synergies among the group members, such as car selection, cross-selling, operation, or knowledge and technology transfer – Gábor Ormosy explained the significance of the move. The first step in introducing the wigo brand name is the launch of wigo carsharing, replacing Share Now Hungary. From October 19, the wigo application can be downloaded from Google Play and the App Store for nearly 100,000 users of the service provided by Wallis Autómegosztó Zrt., a member of the AutoWallis Group. After renewing the password, they will be able to use the fleet of nearly 500 cars. which will be available in the new application from October 24, and registration will also be possible from this day. In the application, wigo users can find improved and renewed functions compared to the previous ones.
