VOSZ Barometer: business sentiment is worsening again
The results of the VOSZ Barometer for the third quarter of 2024 declined in most parameters, it was revealed at a joint press briefing of the National Association of Entrepreneurs and Employers (VOSZ) and the Equilibrium Institute.

Businesses think the biggest risks are the shrinking purchasing power, labour shortages and a backlog of orders. From a business processes perspective it is loss-making operations (27%!), declining purchasing power (18%) and difficulties with business partners (16%) are the main risks. As regards the risk of loss-making operations, Ákos Kozák, director of business relations at the Equilibrium Institute pointed out: this data doesn’t bode well, as it seems that confidence has also been shaken among domestic enterprises, with the consequence that planned business investment is likely to continue to fall short of potential. At 57 % business sentiment is the lowest level ever recorded. //
