Red and black
The espresso made from rooibos tea leaves won plenty of prizes in the past three years. This socalled red espresso is made by brewing the leaves in an espresso machine. What comes out is a slightly sweet, caffeine-free beverage with hints of walnut.
It contains five times more antioxidants than green tea. One kilogram costs HUF 10,000; the nearest places to buy rooibos are Germany and Poland.
