The SZÉP card will be more attractive
The government has made important decisions, which are expected to support domestic tourism in the difficult situation due to the coronavirus epidemic – portfolio.hu quotes Minister Gulyás Gergely, head of the Prime Minister’s Office. The steps can primarily increase the popularity of the SZÉP card, so that more people can spend the amount spent on holiday in Hungary.
Until June 30, 2020, the amounts transferred to the SZÉP card will be exempt from the social contribution tax – Gulyás Gergely said at the Government Info on Thursday. In addition, the amount increased annually for recreation in the public sector has been increased by the government from 200,000 HUF to 400,000 HUF, and the budget will increase from 450,000 HUF to 800,000 HUF in the private sector.
