VM: Hungarian agriculture is on world-class level in many areas
Hungary’s performance is on world-class level in several areas of agriculture – the Ministry of Rural Development (VM) announced on Friday, on the basis of the compilation of the Agricultural Economics Research Institute (AKI)
Hungary is in third place in the European Union in term of the proportion of the cultivable area. The superior capabilities show by the fact that 80 percent in these area is arable land, making the country second in this comparoision after Denmark among the Member States, and surpassing the EU average by about 23 percent – the Ministry of Rural Development (VM) describes.
