VM: more kids can get fruit in the next school year
In the school year beginning in September, the Ministry of Rural Development (VM) continues the School Fruit Program that is co-financed by the EU – the ministry told.
The maximum rate of support is a gross 200 HUF per student per week. Hungary is involved in the European School Fruit Scheme since it was launched. Earlier this year – ie. in the current school year – almost 300 thousand primary school students of about 1,800 schools were given fruits and vegetables. (MTI)
