VM: The promotion of the Hungarian apple continues
Budai Gyula, Minister of State of the Ministry of Rural Development has continued the apple promotion campaign at the Váci Street Tesco Store in Budapest on Friday – the Ministry informed MTI after the event.
Budai Gyula, advsied all costumers to eat at least one apple a day, because it keeps sickness away. This time, two apple producers from Szabolcs county, Rácz Imre from Balkány and Bölcskei György from Nagykálló also took part in the promotion.
It is estimated that this year about 450 thousand tons of apples are being produced on 30 thousand hectares in Hungary. (MTI)
