VM: the chamber of agriculture will be the interest reconciliation forum of the entire agri-food industry

The most important aim of the law on the Hungarian Agriculture, Food and Rural Economic Development Chamber is to create a unified agricultural chamber, in which farmers, processors and traders will be members on a mandatory basis. This increases the efficiency and the competitiveness of the sector – the Rural Development Ministry (VM) said on Thursday, after the Parliament adopted the new Law of Chamber of Agriculture.

The establishment of the chamber reduces the state role in the agricultural and food economy, brings the services closer to the industry participants and forms a third pillar in addition to the legislative and executive branches – said the Rural Development Ministry (VM).   (MTI)
