Exemption from water supply contribution for the duration of the emergency
The agricultural sector is exempted from paying the water supply levy for the duration of the pandemiological emergency. This helps farmers in many areas.
The relevant government decree entitled “On the fulfillment of the obligation to pay the water resources contribution in times of emergency” – 123/2020. (IV. 16.) – was appeared on April 16. According to the published amendments, water users using agricultural water supply are exempted from the obligation to pay water resources contributions for the duration of the emergency. This applies to those working in the fields of crop production, animal husbandry, game management and related services, forestry, as well as fishing and fish farming.
