Water tourism developments begin on the Ráckevei-Soroksári Danube branch
Water tourism developments begin on the Ráckevei-Soroksári Danube branch, co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund and the Hungarian budget with a non-refundable grant of 734.99 million forints – RS Ecoregion Nonprofit Kft. announced to MTI.
According to the announcement, the consortium led by RS Ecoregion applied for support for the development within the framework of the Regional and Settlement Development Operational Program Plus support system, the aim of which is the water tourism development of the Ráckevei-Soroksári Danube by improving the coastal infrastructure. It is expected to be completed in May 2028.
The developments will be implemented at six locations in four settlements: Dunavarsány, Szigetcsép, Kiskunlacháza and Ráckevé. In addition to its leader and the municipalities concerned, the consortium members include the Aktív Magyarország Development Center Nkft. and the Foundation for Hungarian Fishing Culture.
