World Water Day: the National Water Strategy focuses on the Lake Balaton
The National Water Strategy was born recently. Csonki István, head of the Central Transdanubian Water Authority, said that the National Water Strategy’s main goals are the karst waters of the Transdanubian Hills and the water level regulation of the Lake Balaton.
Bóka István, president of the Balaton Development Council (BFT) reminded that December last year the government accepted the Balaton Programme and the regional development concept. Approximately 260 billion HUF EU and 100 billion domestic sources will be used. (MTI)
