Eszter Vitályos: intolerable conditions at the airport, the government expects immediate, quick and effective measures
The conditions at the airport are intolerable, the government expects immediate, quick and effective steps – the government spokesperson announced on Saturday on his Facebook page.
In her post, Eszter Vitályos wrote that in recent weeks, air passengers have had to reckon with many flight delays and cancellations across Europe, including in Budapest.
“In the 21st century, it is unacceptable for Hungarian families and visiting tourists to waste long hours at the airport without receiving adequate information and care. What is happening now at Liszt Ferenc Airport is a consequence of the period before the acquisition of state ownership. As soon as the actual, physical takeover of the airport, the situation will improve”
– said the spokesperson.
