Italy’s Birra Perroni Introduces Returnable Beer Bottles
Italian brewer Birra Perroni has introduced returnable beer bottles in a bid to reduce its environmental impact.
Presenting the novelty, the brewery highlighted that 90% of Italians are sensitive to environmental issues and believe in protecting the environment.
The new returnable beer bottles are produced in the company’s Bari plant in a dedicated production line, which manufactures up to 50,000 bottles per hour.
The returnable vacuum bottles are more resistant than standard bottles, with a life cycle of between 15 and 18 reuses.
