The optimism of family companies is returning
The mood of domestic family companies improved further, the K&H family companies index stands at -3 points. The companies expect a higher increase in sales revenue and a smaller decrease in profit, and the intention to employ and invest has also strengthened. Looking at the development of the economy, in their opinion, the situation could be significantly better in 3 years – the K&H family companies index shows.
However, the generational change is still pending, it has not yet happened in three quarters of the companies, and is not expected to happen in the near future. However, it is worth starting now to prepare for a successful succession. The K&H family companies excellence award can provide help and inspiration in this regard, with which companies applying the best practices in the fields of successful generational change, innovation, long-term strategy, and social and environmental responsibility are recognized again this year.
Family companies are in an increasingly better mood, according to the latest results of the K&H family companies research, their expectations have been improving for the second quarter.
“The K&H family companies index currently stands at -3 points, which is a significant improvement compared to the last two quarters. If this growth continues, expectations may return to the positive range this year. The company sub-index showing the prospects of their own company stands at 2 points, while the macro sub-index stands at -15 points. The companies therefore became more optimistic about their own situation after two quarters, while their opinion about the development of the economy did not change compared to the previous quarter”.
– said Ákos Ékes, head of the K&H family companies center.
