Georgian wine and mineral water may return to the Russian store shelves
Georgian wine and mineral water may soon return to the Russian store shelves, that were banned in Russia, after the relations deteriorated in 2006, saying that these products contain heavy metals and harmful herbicides.
One of the reasons why the Georgians did not contribute to Russia's accession to the World Trade Organization, the WTO, was the limitation of the imports of Georgian wine.
Before the Russian-Georgian conflict, 90 percent of Georgian wine export was directed to Russia – reports Világgazdaság Online.
