Euro zone retail decreased
The retail sales in the euro zone decreased in May higher-than-expected despite the April growth.
Turnover decreased by 0.4 percent in May. The annual rate also decreased above the expected with 3.3 percent, while 2.7 percent decrease was expected for May. Despite the good weather, the demand for non-food products had not ben increased. Moreover, 0.6 percent decrease had been measured on a monthly level. The high unemployment rate makes the public consumption cautious – reports TőzsdeFórum Online.
