Ukraine’s grain export revenue fell in the market year that ended at the end of June
Despite the fact that Ukraine exported more grain in the market year that ended at the end of June than a year earlier, its income from exports was $1.4 billion less than that, the Ukrainian economy minister announced on Monday.

In an interview with the Ukrainian version of Forbes, Yuliya Szviridenko said that in the 2022-2023 market year, Ukraine’s exports of grain, oilseeds, vegetable oils and flour amounted to almost 68 million tons, 10 percent more than a year earlier.Ukraine sold $20.7 billion worth of grain compared to $22.1 billion a year earlier.
Ukraine exported sunflower oil to the most countries (131)
19.3 percent of the total quantity went to Turkey, 12.1 percent to Romania, 11.9 percent to China, 7.2 percent to India and also 7.2 percent to Poland.
Ukraine exported wheat to 65 countries
The top five buyers were Turkey (21 percent), Romania (15.8 percent), Spain (14 percent), Bangladesh (6.2 percent) and Poland (5.5 percent).
58 countries bought Ukrainian corn
The five largest buyers were China (19.8 percent), Romania (16.2 percent), Spain (10.5 percent), Egypt (6.3 percent) and Italy (6.9 percent), the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine informed its leader. Ukraine exported 5.5 million tons of corn to China in the market year, making it one of the country’s main suppliers of the crop. The minister added that Ukrainian farmers sold soybeans, rapeseed, sunflower seeds, other oilseeds, soybean and sunflower meal, and buckwheat to more than 40 countries around the world.
