Guest traffic decreased

The number of overnight stays by foreign visitors decreased by 14, by domestic visitors decreased by 10 percent compared 2008. Price income  decreased by 12 percent.
In the first five months of  the year, 1016 thousand foreign guests spent 2817 thousands nights, while 1252 thousand domestic guests spent 2669  thousand guest nights at commercial accommodations. Guests from the U.S.A. spent 34 percent less overnight stays, while Slovakian guests spent 34 percent more overnight stays. The rate of businessman arriving with official purpose, such as conference or congress is 34 percent, the rate of those who chose health tourism is 13 percent.
