Visit Hungary: world-famous models, actors and content producers promote Budapest and the Hungarian countryside
World-famous models, actors and content producers are promoting Budapest and the Hungarian countryside, Visit Hungary told MTI on Friday.
According to the information, globally known Instagram and TikTok content producers, followed by millions, arrived in Budapest for the third time on May 6th, to promote Hungary and Budapest almost all over the world in the following days. During their three-day visit, they will show the beauty of Hungary at 22 locations with the help of 30 domestic service providers.
The approximately 50 international influencers from 9 countries reach more than 101 million Instagram and 102 million TikTok followers worldwide. The activity, which started on May 7th, will provide Hungary with several thousand appearances on social media platforms, similar to previous highly successful content producer collaborations.
Visit Hungary emphasized that popular vloggers, bloggers, and actors from the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, France, Spain, Poland, the Czech Republic, and Romania, which are particularly important destinations for Hungarian tourism, also arrived at the event.
Culture, gastronomy, tourist attractions, as well as rural winemaking and gastronomy also play a prominent role in the program; in addition to the iconic locations of Budapest, guests can also get acquainted with the Tokaj wine region or Herend porcelain, among others.
Nothing shows the marketing power of content producers better than the fact that 71 percent of travelers find out about destinations on various social media platforms.
Olivér Csendes, CEO of Visit Hungary, said in the statement: with this novel, innovative marketing tool, they can effectively influence the travel decisions of young generations. These travelers no longer use traditional search engines to find information, but instead make decisions based on experiences they see on social media.
